New Vice President Joins Team
May 1, 2012We are pleased to announce that Randy Geyen has joined the IDM team as Vice President of Client Marketing Strategy. Randy brings over twenty years of B2B and B2C marketing experience to IDM.
Prior to joining IDM, Randy fed his entrepreneurial spirit by building a new online business focused on personalized gift products. He also served as Chief Marketing Officer for Asset Marketing Services, the largest collectible coin company in the United States. Over the course of five years, he helped guide AMS to a four-fold increase in sales and profits. Over the prior ten years, he worked at Quill Corporation, a subsidiary of Staples, Inc., most recently serving as Vice President of Marketing. While at Quill, he helped double sales in the face of strong competition. His implementation of lifetime value systems at AMS and Quill led to aggressive customer acquisition efforts and major changes in corporate strategy. He began his career at Fingerhut, one of the largest and most sophisticated direct marketers at the time.
His experience covers most channels within digital and offline marketing. In addition, he has led efforts in the areas of public relations, branding, loyalty marketing, and CRM. His broad marketing background is complimented by strong analytic skills. His analytic experience includes statistical modeling, database development, and customer profiling. He is especially skilled at leveraging information to increase sales and profits, and develop new opportunities.
New Director of Client Marketing Strategy
January 11, 2012We are pleased to announce that Joel Lanphier has been part of the IDM team as Director of Client Marketing Strategy since July 2011. Joel joins IDM with over 15 years of direct marketing and ecommerce experience.
Prior to joining IDM, Joel was the Director of Marketing, Sales and Ecommerce at Freund Container and Supply, a division of Berlin Packaging. As one of two principles at Freund, Joel was responsible for overseeing business development. During Joel’s six years at Freud, his innovative multi-channel marketing strategies led Freund to record breaking growth rates in revenue and profit.
Preceding his work at Freund, Joel spent six years at Reliable Office Supplies and OfficeMax Small Business developing and executing circulation and retention strategies for both catalog divisions. His role also included managing the business’ outbound retention team.

Joel will also serve as a subject matter expert supporting client retention, reactivation and acquisition efforts. New Executive Vice President Joins Team
January 3, 2012We are pleased to announce that Drew May has joined the IDM team as Executive Vice President of Data Integration. Drew joins IDM with over twenty years of experience leveraging technology in direct & database marketing applications for consumer and B2B markets.
Prior to joining IDM, Drew served as the Vice President and Industry Group Leader for Acxiom’s Distribution Solutions Group. In this role, Drew managed and fostered relationships with over 250 partners representing Acxiom products & services. Drew was instrumental in driving revenue and reducing inefficiencies. Prior to this role, Drew led the North American sales group for Acxiom’s Global Sales Organization supporting new business development across all verticals and lines of business.
Drew joined Acxiom in 1990 and first became an officer in 2007. During his tenure with Acxiom, Drew held a variety of leadership positions, including InfoBase-X® organization leader. In this role, Drew was responsible for driving sales, developing and managing the InfoBase-X data products across all industries and third-party relationships. He has also served in numerous sales and operational leadership roles serving the list, catalog, retail and packaged goods industries. Additionally, Drew has been actively involved in numerous corporate initiatives for Acxiom including development of a cooperative data product, a suite of email products and new data processing applications.

We are pleased to announce that Terry Nelson has joined the IDM team as Director of Client Marketing Strategy. Terry joins IDM with nearly 15 years of experience in direct marketing and ecommerce in both the consumer and B2B markets.
Prior to joining IDM, Terry served as the Vice President of Marketing for Artful Home. During his tenure at Artful Home, Terry successfully expanded the company’s presence and increased profitability through his decisive multi-channel marketing efforts. Terry was essential in growing the Artful Home customer base while drastically reducing marketing spend. In addition to building the business, Terry was responsible for improving the functionality, usability, and design of the artfulhome.com website.
Preceding his notable work with Artful Home, Terry worked with Lands’ End, one of the largest online apparel retailer in the world. Terry spent 10 years in Lands’ End’s direct and ecommerce marketing departments, leading and advancing the consumer and B2B areas. While at Lands’ End, Terry developed an integrated marketing plan, leveraged various marketing vehicles and launched the ecommerce marketing function to grow business. Terry also managed the direct marketing for the Lands’ End Business Outfitters business unit.
With Terry’s extensive knowledge and varied experience, he is a valuable addition to the IDM team. At IDM, Terry will be responsible for strategic account growth and development.

His core competencies include building and managing multisource databases; acquisition and retention program analysis; online media placement and SEO. New Office Opening in New York City
August 1, 2011IDM has opened its second office location at 540 Madison Avenue in New York, NY. The new office will provide a central location from which IDM can serve our NYC-based clients as well as provide an alternative work location to take advantage of the deep pool of talent in the tri-state area.
